BluePeak Civil Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Austin, TX. You will lead complex infrastructure projects from concept through delivery, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibility
- Lead design development for municipal and transportation projects with adherence to codes and standards
- Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and contractors through all project phases
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and quantity takeoffs using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments; ensure timely delivery and quality control
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and change orders; liaise with clients and authorities to obtain permits
- Mentor junior staff, support professional development, and promote best practices of safety and sustainability
- Conduct field inspections and provide technical support during construction; resolve site issues and ensure conformance
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license preferred or active in progress
- 5+ years of progressive experience on civil infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM (Revit) and MS Office; knowledge of hydraulic/hydrology software such as HEC-HMS or SWMM is a plus
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO/ASTM codes, environmental and safety compliance; experience with permits
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to site visits as required
- Experience with QA/QC and construction observation
