What you’ll do: collaborate with project managers, technicians, and engineers to deliver accurate data and actionable deliverables, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time project milestones.

Responsibility

  • Perform precise boundary, topographic, and control surveys using GNSS, total stations, and drone-based tools.
  • Prepare field notes, collect data, and ensure accuracy against design standards and control networks.
  • Develop and manage survey deliverables including plats, QA/QC checks, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate with project teams to interpret client needs and translate them into survey workflows.
  • Provide guidance in field operations, staking, and safety oversight on construction sites.
  • Mentor junior technicians and contribute to training programs on surveying best practices.
  • Utilize Civil 3D, GIS, and CAD software to model terrain, alignments, and utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, permits, and quality management procedures.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Surveyor license or willingness to obtain within 12-24 months (where applicable).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of field surveying experience on civil/site development projects.
  • Strong proficiency in GNSS, total stations, data collection, and real-time kinematic systems.
  • Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS software, and data management tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, math, and measurement accuracy under field conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites as needed.
