Join a premium civil engineering practice focused on delivering resilient infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead design, analysis, and project execution across transportation, water resources, and site development projects.
In this role you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage clients, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards while driving schedule and budget performance.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Manage technical teams across disciplines including structural, geotechnical, and survey to ensure cohesive outcomes.
- Prepare and review designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM tools.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and permits.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk registers; monitor progress and adjust resources as needed.
- Oversee QA/QC processes, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer PE license in the United States or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience in design and project management.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and BIM software; experience with STAAD.Pro or RAM Structural System is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards (AASHTO, IBC, NEC) and the ability to apply them to project design.
- Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as required.
