We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to contribute to design, analysis, and project delivery from concept to completion. As a Civil Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to create safe, sustainable, and efficient solutions for transportation, drainage, and structural systems. You will collaborate with architects, other engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibility
- Lead civil design and analysis for land development, transportation, and municipal projects.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Utilize Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools to model site and infrastructure design.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to obtain approvals.
- Provide technical mentorship and review for junior engineers and technicians.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk through proactive planning and reporting.
- Conduct field visits, site investigations, and quality control to ensure compliant construction.
- Support tender preparation, proposal development, and contractor procurement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design, municipal infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM tools; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
- Solid understanding of applicable codes and standards (CSA, AASHTO, IBC, OHSA) and permits process.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management, budgeting, and client-facing tasks.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
