Responsibility

  • Lead civil engineering design and analysis for transportation, site development, and water resources projects from concept through construction.
  • Perform hydrology and hydraulics analyses, geometric design, grading plans, and drainage design.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, and schedules; monitor quality control and risk.
  • Conduct field inspections, witness tests, and construction oversight to ensure conformance with design intent.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support professional licensure processes.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license or EIT/FE candidate preferred.
  • 3+ years of civil engineering experience in site development, transportation, or water resources.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and BIM tools; familiarity with Revit a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of standards (AASHTO, IBC, ASTM) and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with field investigations, QA/QC, and project documentation.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and occasional overtime as needed.
