Private Advertiser is seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaner to join our facilities team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. You will play a key part in daily operations, ensuring all areas are tidy, hygienic, and well maintained according to our standards and local health and safety guidelines.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for routine cleaning across offices, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces as needed. Responsibility
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas including offices, restrooms, corridors, kitchens, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and wipe surfaces to remove dust and dirt.
- Empty trash, replace liners, and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow cleaning protocols and chemical safety guidelines to protect colleagues and visitors.
- Operate cleaning equipment and perform routine maintenance on tools.
- Support additional tasks during events or special cleaning duties when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent cleanliness and a positive environment.
Qualification
- Prior cleaning or facilities support experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift/move items as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability with a proactive work approach.
- Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Good communication skills in Malay or English and a positive team attitude.
- Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if required.
