Indonesia Bakery Family is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Service to join our bakery team in Kota Banda Aceh, Aceh. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. As a Cleaning Service, you will uphold high hygiene standards across production areas, display cases, storerooms, dining spaces, and restrooms. You will follow our cleaning schedules, safety policies, and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety and smooth bakery operations. Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of production areas, kitchen surfaces, equipment, display counters, and dining spaces according to SOPs.
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors; disinfect high-touch areas; manage waste disposal and recycling.
- Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and report issues to supervisor.
- Maintain storage rooms and cleaning supply inventories; request restock when levels are low.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols; use PPE and handle chemicals safely.
- Assist with basic sanitation tasks related to food handling when required; support production staff to ensure a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with team to maintain a neat, inviting bakery environment for customers.
Qualification
- Prior experience as cleaning service or janitor in food-service or retail environment preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling; ability to read and understand safety data sheets.
- Physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25-30 pounds (11-14 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and time management; reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work early morning shifts; flexible schedule.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; positive attitude.
- Basic sanitation and safety certifications or willingness to learn; adherence to SOPs.
