Responsibility
- Deliver expert medication therapy management and patient counseling.
- Review and validate prescription accuracy and dosing for safety and efficacy.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize therapy outcomes.
- Monitor drug therapy protocols and intervene when necessary for optimal patient care.
- Participate in clinical rounds and provide recommendations for medication adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Mentor and manage pharmacy technicians and interns.
- Lead educational initiatives for patients and healthcare staff.
Qualification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacy License.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and compounding.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving clinical settings.
