Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic interviews, and formulation to guide treatment planning.
  • Deliver individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, IPT, DBT where applicable).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans with measurable outcomes; document progress in the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatry, primary care, social work, care management) to coordinate high-quality care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as part of an on-call rotation; participate in case conferences and program development.
  • Supervise and mentor psychology interns or trainees; contribute to training and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to research or program evaluation projects when possible.

Qualification

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or PsyD) in Psychology from an APA-accredited program; current California licensure or clear eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient or integrated primary care settings.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapies and strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience delivering services to diverse populations; exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; strong organizational and documentation skills; commitment to ethical practice and HIPAA.
  • Interest in or experience with research, program evaluation, or quality improvement is a plus.
