Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized instruments and clinical interviews to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for individuals and groups.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions (e.g., CBT, ACT, IPT) tailored to client needs, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans based on data and patient feedback.
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and ensure ethical standards and confidentiality at all times.
- Contribute to research and quality improvement projects; participate in case conferences and supervision.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) or Master’s degree with equivalent licensure eligibility, preferred.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in New York State.
- Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience with diverse populations.
- Proficiency with standardized assessments (e.g., WAIS-IV, MMPI-2, etc.) and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and ethical practice skills; demonstrated cultural humility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; commitment to ongoing professional development.
