NovaMind Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in San Francisco, CA. This full-time role offers opportunities to provide evidence-based therapy, conduct psychological assessments, and contribute to program development in a patient-centered environment. Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews using standardized instruments.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy grounded in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT.
- Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans with measurable goals and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and researchers to coordinate care and support outcomes.
- Interpret psychological test results and prepare clear, legally sound reports for clinicians and clients.
- Engage in supervision, peer consultation, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and clinical excellence.
- Contribute to program development, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
Qualification
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program; licensed or license-eligible to practice in California.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or hospital settings.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT) and psychological testing.
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills with attention to cultural and diversity considerations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate findings into actionable treatment plans.
- Collaborative team player with strong ethics and professional boundaries.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
