As a licensed clinical psychologist, you will contribute to high-quality mental health services, support treatment planning, and participate in program development that advances access to care for our community.
Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments using DSM-5-TR criteria; interpret results to inform treatment planning.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, IPT) tailored to client needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor structured treatment plans with clear goals and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other clinicians to coordinate integrated care.
- Document clinical progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional ethics.
- Engage in supervision, case consultations, and ongoing professional development; contribute to clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in community outreach and program development to expand access to mental health services.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) and active licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in California or eligible for licensure.
- Minimum 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient mental health settings.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR and proficient in psychological testing/assessment as applicable.
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, IPT) and case formulation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ethical decision-making skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and documentation in a compliant clinical environment.
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) and experience with diverse populations are a plus.
