Join Aurora Community Services as a Clinical Social Worker in Boston. This full time role focuses on providing client centered care to individuals and families struggling with housing instability, mental health challenges, and social barriers. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling addressing mental health, housing, and family stressors.
- Coordinate with medical, housing, and social services teams to ensure holistic care.
- Offer crisis intervention and safety planning; link clients to urgent resources as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records with strict confidentiality.
- Advocate for clients access to benefits, housing supports, and community resources.
- Monitor progress, adjust care plans, and provide referrals to ancillary services as appropriate.
Qualification
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program; LSW or LMSW eligible for licensure in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in community based or social services settings.
- Strong knowledge of trauma informed care and evidence based practices.
- Excellent counseling, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with high cultural competency and empathy for diverse populations.
- Experience using electronic health records and adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment; valid driver's license or reliable transportation preferred.
