Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the collection team to ensure timely and effective debt recovery.
- Monitor and analyze collection performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
- Implement and enforce company policies and strategies related to debt collection and credit control.
- Develop positive relationships with customers while handling overdue accounts professionally.
- Provide regular updates and reports on collection progress to management.
- Conduct field visits as necessary to resolve outstanding cases and negotiate payment solutions.
- Train, coach, and motivate the collection team for optimal results and compliance with company standards.
- Identify and escalate complex cases for further management review and legal proceedings when required.
Qualification
- Minimum of a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in collection, credit control, or related financial services roles.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and collection management software.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel/field visits within Batam.
