Join Adecco as a Commercial Risk Manager in Singapore's Central Region and lead risk-management for critical energy infrastructure and data center projects. This full-time role is ideal for a proactive professional who blends commercial acumen with risk discipline to protect project value and long term business outcomes.
In this role, you will own the commercial risk lifecycle from pre-sales risk assessment through contract execution and post-award monitoring. You will partner with sales, legal, procurement, and operations to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks including pricing, credit, performance obligations, insurance, warranties, indemnities, and supplier arrangements. You will develop, maintain, and communicate risk registers and dashboards to senior leadership, ensuring early visibility and decisive action when risk levels change.
You will also manage insurance programs, surety, and risk transfer mechanisms, coordinating with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to secure appropriate cover. You will lead vendor risk management and due diligence, establish controls, and monitor ongoing performance to safeguard the organization. A key part of the role is supporting business continuity planning and incident response to minimize disruption and preserve value in adverse scenarios. You will stay current with market and regulatory developments in the energy and data center sectors and translate these into actionable risk strategies that protect profitability and reputation.

Responsibility
- Lead the commercial risk management lifecycle for energy infrastructure and data center projects, from pre-sales risk assessment to post-award oversight.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, procurement, and operations to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks including pricing, credit, performance obligations, insurance, warranties and indemnities.
- Review and negotiate contracts, insurance, warranties, indemnities, and service level agreements to protect the company.
- Develop risk controls, risk registers, and reporting dashboards for senior management with clear escalation paths.
- Manage insurance programs, bonding, and compliance with corporate risk policies; coordinate with insurers and brokers.
- Lead vendor risk management including due diligence and ongoing monitoring of supplier performance.
- Support business continuity planning, incident response and crisis management to minimize disruption and preserve value.
- Monitor regulatory changes and market developments in energy and data center sectors to continuously adapt risk strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, engineering or a related field; MBA or professional certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of commercial risk management experience in energy infrastructure, data centers, or critical facilities.
- Strong contract law and negotiation skills with experience in indemnities, warranties, and insurance provisions.
- Familiarity with insurance programs, bonding, risk transfer mechanisms and working with brokers and carriers.
- Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills and proficiency in risk software and advanced Excel.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, legal, procurement and operations; proven stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Singapore market knowledge is a plus.
