Responsibility
- Monitor and review company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance risks.
- Research and interpret new and updated regulatory requirements impacting the company.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs for staff.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and documentation for management and regulatory agencies.
- Recommend policy and process improvements to strengthen compliance controls.
- Investigate compliance-related incidents and support corrective action planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve compliance issues.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance, auditing, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Thorough understanding of compliance regulations and risk management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable company policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and compliance management tools.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
