Job description
ForgeBuild Solutions is seeking a results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead high-priority commercial and multifamily projects in the Austin area. You will partner with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
In this role, you will own the project lifecycle from inception to closeout, drive cross-functional collaboration, and implement best practices in scheduling, cost control, and safety management. Responsibility
- Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget from bid through closeout.
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor on-site safety, QA/QC, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Lead value engineering meetings and optimize constructability.
- Manage change orders, RFI logs, and cost tracking.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve field issues promptly.
- Mentor field team and ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience on commercial or multifamily projects.
- Proven ability to manage schedules (Critical Path method) and budgets up to $50M+
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and QA/QC processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera P6, Excel, and BIM software is a plus.
- LEED certification or similar sustainability training is a plus.
