Responsibility
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for multi-family and commercial construction from preconstruction to turnover.
- Develop and manage detailed budgets, cost controls, and change orders to protect project profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors; oversee procurement, RFI/ACI processes, and subcontractor management.
- Supervise site safety programs, enforce OSHA standards, and cultivate a culture of safe work practices.
- Monitor quality control, inspections, punch lists, and commissioning activities to ensure built-to-spec outcomes.
- Track project performance using dashboards and reports; communicate progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly, lead problem-solving efforts, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and develop field staff, coordinating with field supervisors to meet schedule and quality objectives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience on commercial or multi-family projects.
- Strong proficiency with project management tools (MS Project or Primavera P6), scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors; adept at subcontractor procurement and RFI/ASIs.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards (OSHA 10/30), QA/QC processes, and commissioning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read drawings, perform basic BIM coordination, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed; valid driver’s license.
