BlueHorizon Builders is seeking a results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects in Austin, TX. You will oversee planning, procurement, safety, scheduling, and quality control from pre-construction through project closeout. Responsibility
- Lead day-to-day site operations and supervise field teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera; track progress and adjust resources as needed.
- Oversee safety programs, enforce OSHA compliance, and drive continuous safety improvements on site.
- Manage bidding, selection, and coordination of subcontractors; administer contracts and change orders.
- Monitor project budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality control processes; conduct regular site inspections.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers; provide clear progress reporting and issue resolution.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience on commercial or multi-site projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera) and BIM awareness.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
