Job description
Atlas Edge Construction is seeking a results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial and multi-family projects in the Austin area. You will oversee planning, scheduling, risk management, safety, and quality control from pre-construction through project closeout. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, exceptional communication, and a proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibility
- Lead project planning and execution, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; conduct regular coordination meetings and site walks.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6; monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets, forecast costs, approve subcontractor pay applications, and track change orders.
- Oversee safety programs and site compliance; enforce OSHA standards and safety protocols.
- Review submittals, RFI responses, and shop drawings; manage contract administration and closeouts.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely permitting and inspections.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive construction management experience on commercial or multi-family projects.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination skills; proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with safety programs and quality control processes; OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
- Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; problem-solving mindset.
