SummitBuild Constructors is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial and residential projects in the Denver area. You will partner with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality buildings on schedule and within budget. Responsibility
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and procurement for assigned projects.
- Manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and workmanship that meet company standards.
- Coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors; drive timely decisions and issue resolution.
- Monitor progress against baseline schedules; implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Oversee contract administration, permits, and compliance with regulations.
- Mentor site superintendents and junior project staff to promote continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; may consider equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction, with a track record of delivering on-time, on-budget projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and basic BIM/CAD tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-relations skills; ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
- Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, and change order management.
- Licenses or certifications such as OSHA 30, CPC or CCM are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
