Responsibility
- Direct on-site construction activities, coordinating foremen and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
- Monitor daily progress, troubleshoot delays, and adjust schedules to keep projects on track.
- Enforce safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals; ensure quality control across trades.
- Manage site logistics, material handling, and waste management to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, change orders, and project documentation for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Project Manager and Superintendent team to forecast risks and mitigation plans.
- Lead by example to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or 5+ years of proven field supervision in commercial construction).
- 5+ years of on-site supervisory experience on mid to large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications; experience with Procore or similar project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training; ability to enforce safety plans on-site.
- Willingness to travel between project sites as needed and to coordinate with multiple teams.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
