NovaCare Medical Group is seeking a skilled General Physician to join our team in Mumbai. As a key member of our General Medicine team, you will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, promote preventive care, and collaborate with specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibility
- Provide high-quality primary care across general medicine to a diverse patient population.
- Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular risk factors.
- Develop and implement preventive care strategies and health education for patients and communities.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists to ensure integrated care.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- MBBS or MD in General Medicine from a recognized medical university.
- Valid medical license to practice in Maharashtra.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in general medicine.
- Strong diagnostic reasoning, clinical judgement, and patient management skills.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a patient-centered approach.
