Elite Referee Solutions Ltd is a premium network linking skilled referees with local and regional sport events across London and the South East. We are looking for motivated officials to join our contracted roster, delivering reliable match officiating with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
As a contracted referee, you’ll oversee game flow, enforce rules, and ensure player safety and fair play. The role offers flexible scheduling, competitive per-match compensation, and clear pathways to higher‑grade assignments based on performance and feedback.
Our onboarding process includes compliant safeguarding, accessibility considerations, and ongoing development support. You’ll be supported by a dedicated operations team to help you secure desirable assignments and maximize your impact on every event.
Responsibility
- Officiate assigned matches in accordance with governing body rules and league policies
- Manage game flow, timekeeping, and restart procedures to maintain pace
- Enforce disciplinary measures (cautions, send-offs) and communicate decisions clearly
- Monitor player conduct, resolve disputes, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with organizers, coaches, and fellow officials to ensure smooth operations
- Provide timely feedback to event partners and complete post-match reports
- Maintain accurate records of matches officiated and attendance
Qualification
- Valid refereeing qualification from a recognized governing body (e.g., FA Referee) or equivalent
- Proven experience officiating at amateur or semi‑professional levels
- Strong knowledge of game rules, laws of the sport, and fair-play principles
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and conflict-management skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage crowd or sideline interactions
- Good physical fitness and stamina to cover match conditions and field length
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel within the region
