Momentum Sports Group is seeking a dynamic Sports Operations Manager to lead program operations for our premier athletes and events in Los Angeles. You will oversee facilities, event logistics, performance analytics, and partner coordination to deliver outstanding fan experiences and athlete success.

In this role, you will collaborate with coaches, marketing, and sponsorship teams to align operations with strategic goals, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time execution across all events.

Responsibility

  • Coordinate multi-event schedules and travel logistics for teams and athletes, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Lead venue operations, safety protocols, and compliance across all events in LA and partner markets.
  • Oversee budgeting, vendor management, and procurement for facilities, equipment, and travel.
  • Analyze performance metrics and operational data to optimize efficiency and fan experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and partnerships to activate event experiences and sponsorships.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes for event setup, gear logistics, and post-event review.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, contractors, and interns with a focus on accountability and development.
  • Drive risk management and incident response planning to protect athletes, staff, and fans.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Operations, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years in sports operations, event management, or facilities administration.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale events on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving, data analysis, and proficiency with event tech and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with safety, security and risk management protocols.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends during event periods.
