Pacific Coast Athletics is seeking a dynamic Sports Partnerships Manager to lead sponsorship strategy, activation, and revenue growth across our professional sports portfolio in Los Angeles. You will partner with brands, internal teams, and league partners to deliver integrated fan experiences that engage audiences and drive measurable results.
As a key member of the partnerships team, you will own the end-to-end sponsor lifecycle—from opportunity discovery and proposal development to activation execution and performance reporting—ensuring partnerships deliver compelling value for sponsors and the organization.
This role requires a strategic mindset, creative problem-solving, and a passion for the business of sport.
Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of strategic sponsorship partnerships with local and national brands across multiple properties and events.
- Collaborate with marketing, ticketing, media, and operations to plan and deliver integrated activation campaigns that maximize sponsor value.
- Manage partner onboarding, contract administration, invoicing, and performance reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, agencies, leagues, and internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop robust ROI models, track key performance indicators, and present quarterly results to leadership and sponsors.
- Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities, create compelling proposals, and lead renewal conversations.
- Coordinate activation calendars, project timelines, and cross-functional execution to meet deadlines and budgets.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of sponsorship, partnerships, or business development experience in professional sports or entertainment.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics tools; comfort with ROI measurement and reporting.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, games, and events as needed.
