As a Crisis Management Lead, you will own the incident response lifecycle, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor rising crisis professionals across industries.
Responsibility
- Lead crisis response planning, activation, and post-incident reviews across client portfolios.
- Design, implement, and exercise incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, communications, and stakeholder engagement during incidents.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and scenario planning to anticipate disruptions.
- Develop crisis communications strategies, including internal and external messaging and media guidance.
- Provide coaching and training through tabletop exercises and simulations for client executives and operational teams.
- Advise C-suite on resilience strategies, regulatory considerations, and program optimization.
Qualification
- 8+ years of experience in crisis management, business continuity, risk management, or related fields within consulting or industry.
- Proven track record leading major incident responses for Fortune 500 or global organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management, executive presence, and written/verbal communications skills.
- Deep knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, and ISO 31000.
- Ability to perform under pressure with rapid decision-making and prioritization.
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, business continuity, public safety, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CBCI, CISM, or crisis communications credentials are highly desirable.
