At Apex Resilience Partners, we help organizations prepare for, respond to, and recover from crises with confidence. We are seeking a Senior Crisis Management Lead to architect and drive enterprise-wide resilience programs across industries.
This role blends strategic planning with hands-on incident leadership, ensuring swift containment, credible communications, and continuous protection of operations and reputation.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise crisis management programs, including incident command structures, playbooks, and escalation paths.
- Direct incident response efforts during emergencies, coordinating cross-functional teams to contain impact and restore operations.
- Develop and exercise crisis communications plans for internal and external stakeholders under high-pressure scenarios.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, business impact analyses, and threat-hunting activities to strengthen resilience.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Security, IT, and Operations to align crisis readiness with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate training, simulations, and tabletop exercises to embed a proactive resilience culture across the organization.
- Lead post-incident reviews, capture lessons learned, and implement continuous improvements to policies and procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of crisis management, business continuity, or incident response experience in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of incident command systems (ICS), BCM standards, and crisis communications best practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure and coordinate with senior executives and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience managing media relations and stakeholder outreach.
- Professional certifications such as CBCP, CISM, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, data analysis, and project management software; fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
