Responsibility
- Develop and oversee enterprise crisis management plans, including incident command, escalation criteria, and decision making protocols.
- Lead multi-disciplinary crisis response exercises and tabletop drills to validate readiness and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during actual incidents, ensuring rapid containment, clear communication, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise executives on risk mitigation strategies, resilience investments, and business continuity planning.
- Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor resilience posture and drive data-driven improvements.
- Manage relationships with clients and external partners, including regulators, law enforcement, and insurers as appropriate.
- Provide mentorship and develop standards, playbooks, and training programs for crisis management professionals.
Qualification
- 10+ years in crisis management, business continuity, risk, or related field with progressive leadership experience.
- Experience leading incident command in complex, high-pressure environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 22301, NIST framework, and regulatory requirements relevant to crises.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to translate risk insights into actionable strategic plans.
- Proven project management and change leadership capabilities with cross-functional teams.
- Master's or MBA preferred; Bachelor's with strong track record considered.
