Job description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Crisis Management Lead to oversee rapid response and strategic resilience initiatives across multiple business units. You will drive planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our crisis management program to safeguard people, operations, and reputation.
In this role, you will partner with executives, Risk, Legal, and Communications to shape rapid decision-making during incidents and to maintain readiness through training, exercises, and after-action reviews.
Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive crisis management plans across all business units.
- Coordinate fast and effective incident response following predefined playbooks and incident command protocols.
- Manage cross-functional crisis teams, ensuring timely executive reporting and informed decision making.
- Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery programs, aligning with regulatory expectations and stakeholder needs.
- Shape crisis communications strategies for internal and external audiences, including executives, employees, partners, and media.
- Conduct regular training, tabletop exercises, and after-action reviews to continuously improve preparedness.
- Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance to ensure accurate risk assessment and rapid remediation when incidents occur.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of crisis management, business continuity, or incident response experience in large, complex organizations.
- Proven track record leading crisis responses across geographies and incidents.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and act decisively under pressure; remains calm under fire.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, risk assessment, and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency with crisis management software, DRP/BCP, project management, and performance measurement.
- Relevant certifications such as CBCI, MBCP, or equivalent (nice to have).
