Join our London-based risk and resilience team as a Crisis Management Leader. You will architect and oversee enterprise crisis capabilities, enabling proactive preparedness and decisive action when disruptions occur. This role partners with executive leadership to safeguard operations, protect reputation, and ensure rapid recovery across all business lines.
In this role, you will drive strategy, lead the incident response lifecycle, and build a culture of resilience through people, process, and technology. You will collaborate with legal, IT, security, communications, operations, and finance to deliver integrated crisis management across the organization.
Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of enterprise crisis management and business continuity plans.
- Oversee incident response activation, coordinating internal and external stakeholders across functions.
- Design and run tabletop exercises, simulations, and drills to validate readiness and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage crisis communications, media guidance, and executive messaging in partnership with PR and senior leadership.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments, threat monitoring, and early warning systems to anticipate potential disruptions.
- Coordinate with legal, IT, operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure cohesive and timely responses.
- Lead post-incident reviews, document lessons learned, and implement remediation and prevention measures.
- Establish governance, metrics, and reporting for crisis readiness to inform board and executive stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, business continuity, security, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in crisis management, resilience, risk, or business continuity; senior leadership experience preferred.
- Certifications such as CBCI, CISM, BCMS, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven incident command, emergency response, and crisis communications experience in complex organizations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management, analytical capabilities, and ability to translate risk into actionable plans.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting during crises and privacy/safety standards.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
