Private Advertiser is seeking a highly motivated Cross Commodity Analyst to join our trading team in Singapore. This role sits at the heart of our energy desk, collaborating across crude oil, oil products, and biofuels to generate actionable insights that inform trading strategies and risk management. You will work closely with traders, analytics specialists, and risk teams to interpret price dynamics, supply-demand fundamentals, and policy developments that shape multi-commodity markets.
In this role, you will leverage quantitative skills to model price scenarios, monitor market trends, and deliver timely analyses that support decision-making. You will also contribute to the development of pricing tools, dashboards, and reports that enable the desk to optimize capital allocation and profitability while upholding strict governance and compliance standards.

Responsibility
- Perform cross-commodity market analysis across crude oil, refined products, and biofuels to identify price drivers, spreads, and risk exposures.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, scenarios, and dashboards to support trading decisions and risk management.
- Monitor fundamentals, sentiment indicators, and policy developments affecting multiple energy markets.
- Produce timely reports and visualizations for traders, risk managers, and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Traders, Risk Managers, and Operations to ensure accurate data, governance, and compliance.
- Support trade ideas generation, backtesting, and post-trade performance reviews.
- Participate in special projects to enhance analytics capabilities and data quality.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in commodity trading, energy analytics, or related fields.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL or Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal and Eikon or similar market data platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of crude oil, refined products, and biofuels markets is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
