Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of curated exhibition projects from concept to install, including concept brief, timeline, and installation plan.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to curatorial vision.
- Collaborate with artists, lenders, conservators, researchers, and internal teams to realize ambitious programming.
- Oversee condition reporting, insurance, shipping, crating, and installation logistics with external partners.
- Develop education and public programming aligned with exhibitions and support outreach, press, and audience engagement.
- Generate scholarly research, write wall texts, labels, and catalogs, and coordinate with design for printed matter.
- Coordinate with marketing, development, and operations to maximize audience reach and fundraising impact.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field; or equivalent professional experience within a gallery or museum setting.
- 3–5+ years in curatorial or gallery project management with strong exhibition planning experience.
- Proven track record managing complex exhibitions, budgets, loan negotiations, and logistics.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills; ability to write wall texts and catalog entries.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; adept at coordinating diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; experience with shipping and insurance processes.
- Knowledge of contemporary art markets, artists, lenders, provenance research, and ethical standards.
