We are seeking a visionary Curriculum Designer to craft high-impact, standards-aligned curricula and scalable lesson materials for K-12 and online programs. This role blends instructional design, content development, and data-driven improvement to advance student outcomes and educator success.
As a key member of our educational design team, you will translate learning standards into engaging, rigorous, and accessible curricula that empower teachers and inspire learners. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and technologists to deliver modular resources, assessments, and professional development that scale across districts and classrooms.
What you’ll do matters: design compelling units, curate multimedia resources, drive continuous improvement through data insights, and contribute to a culture of evidence-based practice in education.
Responsibility
- Design and develop standards-aligned curricula and unit plans across multiple subjects for K-12 and online programs.
- Collaborate with teachers, subject matter experts, and program managers to implement innovative instructional approaches.
- Create modular, scalable lesson plans with multimedia resources and accessible formats.
- Translate standards into measurable objectives, performance tasks, and robust rubrics.
- Pilot content in select classrooms, collect feedback, and iteratively refine materials.
- Maintain project documentation, timelines, and version control to ensure timely delivery.
- Contribute to assessment design, data analysis, and reporting to inform improvements.
- Provide training and support to educators on new curricula and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design for K-12 or higher education.
- Strong knowledge of learning standards and alignment practices; experience with standards-based planning.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, or Google Classroom.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in assessment design, analytics, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to train and mentor educators.
- Project management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality materials on tight timelines.
- Portfolio of curriculum materials and sample units demonstrating impact and alignment.
