You will design standards-aligned curricula, collaborate with subject matter experts, and translate learning goals into engaging, accessible resources for both in-person and online environments.
We are seeking a proactive instructional designer who blends pedagogy with technology to craft compelling courses that drive student outcomes.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end curriculum design from needs analysis to pilot and revision.
- Develop standards-aligned lesson plans, assessments, and rubrics for multiple subjects.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to translate learning goals into engaging content.
- Create multimedia-enabled resources and adaptable formats for in-person and online learning.
- Coordinate with LMS administrators to publish curricula and track impact metrics.
- Review and iterate based on educator feedback and student outcomes.
- Support professional development initiatives and provide guidance to teachers.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity across all materials.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum design or instructional design in K-12 or higher education.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, backward design) and assessment development.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Google Classroom) and authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data to inform instructional decisions and measure impact.
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Portfolio or samples of curriculum design work required.
