BrightPath Education is seeking a curious and strategic Curriculum Designer to elevate our online and blended learning programs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to craft rigorous, engaging, standards-aligned curriculum across K-12 and higher education offerings. This role emphasizes instructional design, data-informed iteration, and scalable digital content.

In this role you will partner with instructional designers, teachers, and administrators to design outcomes-based units, create learning activities, and align content with national and state standards. You will select and evaluate digital tools and build reusable templates to accelerate impact at scale.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end curriculum design for online and hybrid programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop modular, scalable units and assessments.
  • Design engaging multimedia learning activities and interactive simulations using best practices in instructional design.
  • Develop and maintain rubrics, scoring guides, and analytics dashboards to measure outcomes and inform iterations.
  • Curate and evaluate digital tools, platforms, and resources to support diverse learning needs and accessibility.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of content updates and platform compatibility.
  • Lead pilot programs and gather feedback from educators and learners to refine content.
  • Create and maintain documentation, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency across programs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development for online or blended learning.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, backward design) and assessment design.
  • Experience with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
