BrightPath Education is seeking a strategic and creative Curriculum Designer to join our growing team. This role shapes engaging, standards-aligned curriculum for K-12 online learners.
Based in Boston, MA, you will collaborate with teachers, instructional designers, and platform specialists to develop modular units, assessments, and student-facing materials that drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibility
- Lead design of innovative, standards-aligned curricula for K-12 across core subjects.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate standards into modular units and activities.
- Craft diverse assessments, rubrics, and performance tasks aligned to learning goals.
- Develop LMS-ready materials, including multimedia resources and accessible formats.
- Apply data-driven insights to iterate on instructional design and improve outcomes.
- Partner with teachers for pilot testing and classroom implementation support.
- Manage project timelines, documentation, and quality assurance for content deliverables.
- Champion inclusive design to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years designing K-12 curricula and assessments; experience with online learning is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate, etc.).
- Experience with data-driven improvement and educational technology integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating prior curricula and instructional design work.
