BrightPath Education Group is seeking a Curriculum Designer to craft engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences for K-12 students in our online programs. This role blends instructional design best practices with data-driven decision making to boost student outcomes.
As part of our Education team, you will collaborate with teachers, content developers, and evaluators to create scalable curricula that are accessible, inclusive, and differentiated for diverse learners.
Responsibility
- Design and develop standards-aligned curricula for K-12 online courses across multiple subjects.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert objectives into engaging, accessible learning experiences.
- Create assessments, rubrics, and analytics to measure student understanding and inform iteration.
- Manage multiple curriculum development projects with clear timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure all content adheres to accessibility and inclusive design guidelines.
- Pilot and revise materials based on feedback from teachers, students, and evaluators.
- Align curricula with state standards and district requirements, ensuring consistency across programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of instructional design experience for K-12 or online learning environments.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas, Moodle) and authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate).
- Strong understanding of pedagogy, assessment design, and universal design for learning.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze usage metrics and iterate curricula accordingly.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with teachers, administrators, and stakeholders.
- Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
