We are seeking a Curriculum Developer to lead the creation and refinement of standards-aligned content across grade levels, integrating best practices in pedagogy, accessibility, and technology.
Responsibility
- Design and develop standards-aligned K-12 curricula and units across multiple subjects.
- Collaborate with teachers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to translate learning goals into engaging materials.
- Create assessments, rubrics, and performance tasks to measure mastery and inform instruction.
- Review and update existing curricula based on pilot data and user feedback.
- Conduct research on instructional strategies and educational technology to inform content decisions.
- Work with the LMS team to publish materials in the learning platform and ensure accessibility compliance.
- Support educator professional development with trainings and resources.
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and quality control to ensure timely delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience developing K-12 curriculum and instructional materials.
- Strong knowledge of assessment design, learning progressions, and standards alignment (Common Core, state standards).
- Proficiency with instructional design tools and e-learning authoring software (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and LMS platforms.
- Excellent research and data-analysis skills; ability to translate data into actionable content changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Commitment to equity, accessibility, and inclusive pedagogy.
- Portfolio of curriculum materials or sample units is required.
