We are looking for a dedicated Dance Instructor who blends technical mastery with a warm, inclusive teaching approach. Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality dance classes for multiple ages and skill levels.
- Choreograph routines for student performances, showcases, and community events.
- Develop progressive curricula and assessment tools to track student growth.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors to create cross-style workshops and masterclasses.
- Maintain studio safety, proper warm-up, and injury prevention protocols.
- Assist with auditions, studio events, and outreach initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualification
- 3+ years of teaching experience in a dance studio or school; proficiency in at least two styles (eg, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, or jazz).
- Bachelor’s degree in dance or related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Strong choreography, cueing, and corrective feedback abilities across levels.
- Knowledge of anatomy, injury prevention, and safe warm-up protocols.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and a positive, inclusive teaching style.
- Ability to perform and coach in showcases; comfortable on stage.
- Available to teach evenings and weekends as required.
