Responsibility
- Coordinate all stage operations during rehearsals and performances, including cueing and timing.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and technical staff to realize the artistic vision.
- Maintain show documentation, prompt copies, cue sheets, and version control.
- Schedule rehearsals and fittings; manage call times and company logistics.
- Lead stage crew, assign tasks, and supervise props, scenery, and automation.
- Oversee safety protocols for all technical elements (rigging, fly systems, effects).
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and implement contingency plans.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Production, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-4 years of Stage Management in live theatre (Broadway or equivalent venue preferred).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with prop management, cueing software, and basic lighting/sound concepts.
- Strong leadership and teamwork, with ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, call sheets, and rehearsal reporting.
