PulseMotion Dance Studio is seeking a dynamic Dance Instructor & Choreographer to join our elite team in New York City. This role combines technique coaching with creative direction to develop compelling performances for students of all levels.

In this role, you will lead technique classes, develop original choreographies, and collaborate with music directors, lighting professionals, and costume teams to deliver polished shows. Responsibility
- Lead and choreograph dynamic classes across styles (ballet, contemporary, hip hop) for all levels.
- Design progressive technique curricula and track student growth.
- Conceptualize and stage original performances, showcases, and community events.
- Collaborate with music directors, lighting, and costume teams to ensure cohesive productions.
- Mentor junior instructors and interns, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Uphold safety, professionalism, and inclusive, motivating studio culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Dance, Dance Education, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or performing experience across multiple styles.
- Strong choreography portfolio and proven ability to stage productions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to teach evenings and weekends for rehearsals and performances.
- Knowledge of injury prevention, safe spotting, and conditioning methods.
- Commitment to inclusivity and student safety; CPR/First Aid preferred.
