NovaDance Collective is seeking a professional Dance Instructor to join our vibrant NYC studio. You will lead technique classes, choreograph contemporary and classical repertoire, and mentor dancers across levels to achieve artistry and technical excellence.

Responsibility
- Lead daily technique classes across multiple levels in ballet, contemporary, and urban styles.
- Design progressive curriculums and track student progress with clear outcomes.
- Choreograph original pieces for year-end performances and community showcases.
- Assess technique, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction for diverse learners.
- Mentor and coach students for auditions and professional opportunities.
- Ensure safety, injury prevention, and proper warm-up/cool-down protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors on programming, season planning, and outreach.
Qualification
- BFA/BA in Dance or equivalent professional experience in instruction and performance.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with strong repertoire in ballet, contemporary, and urban styles.
- Proven ability to choreograph, rehearse, and stage original works for staged performances.
- Excellent communication, mentorship, and group facilitation skills with a diverse student body.
- Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and provide safe modifications.
- CPR/First Aid certification and strong knowledge of injury prevention and studio safety.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends; willingness to travel for workshops and shows.
