Pulse Dance Collective is seeking a passionate Dance Instructor to join our NYC studio. The ideal candidate will bring energy, technique, and a love for community-based learning. You will work with a diverse roster of students, from beginners to advanced, and contribute to creative development and performance opportunities.

Responsibility
- Lead engaging classes in contemporary and jazz, adapting to all skill levels.
- Design progressive curricula and technique-focused progressions.
- Choreograph original routines for student showcases and company performances.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track attendance.
- Collaborate with directors and guest choreographers on repertoire and production needs.
- Maintain studio safety, equipment, and class management to ensure a professional environment.
- Mentor assistant teachers and trainee instructors; lead demonstrations and warm-ups.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in dance or 3+ years of professional teaching/performing experience.
- Proficiency in contemporary and jazz; ability to teach additional styles (hip-hop, ballet) is a plus.
- Strong communication, motivation, and classroom management skills.
- Experience choreographing for performances and leading rehearsals.
- Knowledge of dancer safety, warm-ups, conditioning, and injury prevention.
- Ability to create inclusive, age-appropriate curricula and provide individualized feedback.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends and participate in company rehearsals.
