Responsibility

  • Lead artistic planning and season development, curating a diverse repertoire and commissioning new works.
  • Oversee program operations including schedule, faculty management, and facility logistics.
  • Develop and manage budgets, fundraising strategies, and grant reporting to support artistic goals.
  • Foster community partnerships with schools, studios, and cultural organizations to broaden access to dance.
  • Mentor and supervise teaching staff, choreographers, and apprentices; set performance standards.

  • Champion inclusive practices and equity in all programs and casting decisions.
  • Represent the organization publicly, driving media outreach and audience development.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of professional dance experience with a track record in program management or artistic direction.

  • Strong choreography background and knowledge of ballet, contemporary, and fusion styles.
