We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead defense systems initiatives from concept through delivery. As a Program Manager, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, maintain customer relationships, and ensure compliance with governing standards and security requirements.
Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, logistics, cyber, and security to deliver programs on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain program baselines, schedules, risk management plans, and performance metrics.
- Serve as primary liaison with government customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor cost performance using earned value management, forecast and manage budgets.
- Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, export controls, and security protocols.
- Prepare and deliver briefings to senior leadership and government customers.
- Identify and mitigate program risks; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of program management experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting.
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle and contract types; experience with EVM a plus.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one (per program requirements).
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
