Responsibility
- Develop and produce detailed engineering drawings and 3D structural models for specialised construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to interpret design requirements and translate concepts into technical plans.
- Participate in the review and refinement of project specifications, ensuring designs adhere to industry codes and standards.
- Utilise CAD software to draft, modify, and update engineering drawings.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout project lifecycles, from conceptualisation to completion.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and incorporate client feedback to optimise solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for project approvals, tenders, and construction phases.
- Support the resolution of design-related issues and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) in engineering design within the construction or structural industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant CAD design software.
- Strong understanding of local and international engineering standards and building codes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
