As a Diplomacy Advisor, you will support program design, monitor developments in global affairs, and prepare actionable recommendations for senior leadership and partner institutions.
We seek a proactive strategist who can translate complex geopolitical dynamics into practical policy options, with a strong emphasis on integrity, discretion, and cross-cultural communication.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement diplomatic engagement strategies with governments, international organizations, and civil society.
- Conduct risk assessments and policy analysis on foreign affairs topics affecting program objectives.
- Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and position papers for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align on objectives and timelines.
- Lead negotiations or facilitate dialogue sessions to advance consensus and resolve disputes.
- Monitor global events and advise on timely responses to emerging developments.
- Represent the organization at high-level meetings, conferences, and forums (where appropriate).
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in diplomacy, foreign policy, or international program management.
- Proven track record in negotiation, mediation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong research, analytical, and policy-writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments; maintains high integrity and discretion.
