Join the Civic Policy Institute, a premier think tank shaping policy on federal and state levels. We are seeking a Policy Analyst to conduct rigorous research, synthesize complex data, and craft compelling policy briefs that inform lawmakers, stakeholders, and the public.

Responsibility
- Design and execute research projects on key public policy issues, including economic policy, health care, and governance.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable policy recommendations.
- Prepare policy briefs, memos, and stakeholder-facing reports for internal and external audiences.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at the federal and state levels and assess policy implications.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, partner organizations, and government officials to advance policy agendas.
- Present findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, donors, and policymakers.
- Contribute to grant proposals and performance reports; manage project timelines and deliverables.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of policy research experience in think tanks, government, or non-profit sectors.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills; proficiency with data analysis tools (Stata, R, Python) and visualization software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex topics into clear briefs for non-specialist audiences.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, or government affairs is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
