Job description
We are seeking a Diplomacy Analyst to join our Brussels office and contribute to shaping international policy through rigorous research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic diplomacy programs. The role offers exposure to multilateral negotiations, policy development, and cross-sector partnerships in a fast-paced think tank environment.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement diplomacy-focused research programs across multilateral institutions and partner governments.
- Analyze international policy developments, produce briefs, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Engage with stakeholders including government officials, diplomats, and NGO representatives to gather insights and build coalitions.
- Support preparation for negotiations, conferences, and high-level meetings with evidence-based materials.
- Coordinate public outreach and press materials to communicate policy positions to diverse audiences.
- Monitor compliance with applicable international frameworks and maintain up-to-date awareness of geopolitical trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate policy analysis into program strategy and grant proposals.
Qualification
- Master degree in international relations, diplomacy, political science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in diplomacy, policy analysis, or government affairs.
- Strong understanding of EU institutions, international law, and multilateral negotiation dynamics.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear policy memos and briefs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in French or another EU language is a plus.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and partnership building skills across sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
